We certainly look different today from when the company first started out injection moulding in 1971. Expansion has continued on 2 different sites and the factory floor area now exceeds 56,000 square feet. We employ over 80 staff.
Today Unicor Industries Inc. is still a privately owned custom injection moulder of quality bespoke products for a wide variety of industries. Throughout the company’s development, we have retained a steadfast dedication to building strong partnerships with both customers and suppliers, while consciously investing in areas that add real value to these relationships.
Quality, environment and the people are key areas for us and we have made significant investment in these areas over the years. When it comes to quality, Unicor Industries Inc. attained the ISO9001:2015 certification and building currently on ISO14001 the standard for Environmental Management. When it comes to the environment we manage our production processes with careful concern and implement numerous other sustainability initiatives. People’s retention remain are our most valuable asset since the 2000s.

OUR STORY
Our BEGINNING
Founded in 1971, Unicor is a recognized leader in plastic injection molding. With decades of experience, Unicor stands out for its commitment and ability to meet the needs of its partners. Unicor offers cutting-edge manufacturing solutions for custom parts, using specific engineering resins and adhering to strict quality standards.
1971 – Company founded – factory and land of 20,000 sq ft
1978 – Expansion to a 50,000 sq ft site
1980 – Purchase of a large-tonnage machine (900T)
The NEW MILLENNIUM
2000 – Development of mold capacity and expertise (optical lenses, sophisticated housings, overmolding)
2005 – Unicor reaches multi-million dollar revenue
2012 – Continued growth and ISO 9001 certification
2020 – Company acquisition
2022 – Acquisition and installation of 8 injection machines ranging from 180t to 1800t.
2023 – Installation of a fully automated line using 5 six-axis robots.
Our FUTURE
Another molding machine was added at the beginning of 2023 (a 1700-ton machine), coinciding with the company’s 53rd anniversary. Plans have been made to begin redevelopment of the entire factory site, expanding the land to approximately 100,000 sq ft. The company still employs around 100 people, and its revenue has doubled, proving that Unicor is a modern, forward-looking company with over 50 years of experience to rely on. Next years will be marked by significant changes, with the most visible being the site redevelopment. The first phase will consist of building new offices and employee facilities along the front of the existing factory.
